Samara is the social media and branding guru of the marketing team. As part of the MySpace generation, Samara has been fascinated by what draws engagement for many years and is always studying the various triggers that make someone or something appeal to the masses. Using social media we have the ability to share powerful products and ideas, grow awareness, brands and names and change the world, we have the choice whether or not to use this power for good or evil.
Before life at BlueChilli Samara has a solid background in graphic design, branding and marketing consultation. As the co-founder of Chicks in Bowls (2012), Samara knows what it’s like to run a business from inception to success, with more than 250 chapters and large social media following, representing her company worldwide.
Samara works with the Marketing team to analyse and build social media structures for BlueChilli and it's accelerator programs. Imperative to this is Samara’s ability to conduct in depth audience and competitor research to develop an effective and engaging communications plan.
Outside of BlueChilli, Samara is a roller skating fanatic in both ramp and roller derby. She is the founder and representative for the aforementioned international roller skating community “Chicks in Bowls” and is an internationally travelled and accredited skating coach.
