There’s alway plenty of action at BlueChilli and this month was a cracker!
It kicked off with one of BlueChilli’s startups, Moneysoft, announcing it had raised a total of $1.5M for its expansion and growth in the financial management sector. It was covered by a host of media, including BRW.
During the month we also hosted a visit and presentation from futurist Rambotia Jones and a great educational talk on starting up in the US from lawyer Richard Horton.
Chris Ball, founder of BlueChilli startup Adventure Honey, is riding 2,000kms on less than $3 a day from Aug 26 – Sep 13 from Seattle to SanFran! He’s be presenting to likes of Microsoft and AirBnB on how poverty can be eliminated by enabling local Changemakers in developing countries. Get behind the cause and follow him at www.seattle2sanfran.com.
BlueChilli CEO Seb was also a panelist on Australia’s first dedicated television show for startups, That Startup Show. Check out his thoughts on the blog and catch the program on YouTube.
And for a bit of glamour, BlueChilli startup Starpower was on the red carpet at the Emmy Awards! Starpower ran a charity “cash grab” booth, with the celebs donating the grabbed bucks to their nominated charity. Check Orange is the new Black’s Madeline Brewer in action!
