The team behind Blue Chilli are passionate about start-ups and helping the start-up community. Our staff are actively involved in the Club Kidpreneur project teaching primary school children the basics of business and have done training courses with NSW Small Business and The Entourage YESSUP program.
AutoCarLog was a project built in just seven days and for a budget of $500 and resulted in a blog series where every detail of the start up was explained. This blog series sets the foundation of Blue Chilli's training service.
One-on-one training to guide you through your business start-up
An 'intimate' mentoring and training package is available where you will be guided through Blue Chilli's start-up process by BlueChilli's Startup Gurus. Our Team have significant experience in building lean boot-strapped start-ups and we all understand how technology works and will guide you through your own start up..
The training is focused around a mentoring philosophy and therefore will be specific to your individual skills and requirements and will cover the following topics:
Scoping and testing the idea
What makes a good idea? How do you test it? What online resources can you use to conduct market research? Identifying your "three customers". The exit.
Registrations and Business Basics
How to protect your idea and business. Trademarks, patents, business registrations, company structures.
Graphic design and branding
What elements make a good logo? How you can get designs done economically. Call to actions. The emotional connection to colour.
Building online businesses (for non-tech-savvy people)
Leverage networks and developers. Partnerships. Freelance websites. Languages, templates and frameworks.
Launch
Marketing strategies. PR and marketing. Testing prior to launch.
Consistent mentoring works
Regular and consistent mentoring is the key for both parties to ensure you get the most out of training. Mentoring takes place with one in-person 90 minute session and two 30 minute phone calls a month. Mentoring is conducted at Blue Chilli's Head Office in Sydney CBD.

Not for everyone
Mentoring is a very focused training session and is not suitable for everyone. Blue Chilli reserves the right to only accept clients who will gain the most out of the mentoring program and who are a 'good fit' with Eckersley-Maslin
The package
Blue Chilli's mentoring package is a 3 month minimum commitment. As this is a very time consuming activity there are limited mentoring opportunities.
